August 2010 is here! Mom was up with the renters for the past week. She had some gentlemen install the tv antenna, look at the leaky washing machine hose - fixed, and had a plumber come and install a new water heater (out with the old 1988 rusted model).

Tim came up later from Tuesday night (right after a 4 inch rain deluged the area) and stayed until Saturday. He brought Wisconsin perennials for mom's gardens, including raspberries, strawberries, and a blueberry bush. The weather was calm, warm, and humid. River rocks were purchased to put around the lake tree and missing spots. An apple and cherry tree was also planted with hopes of a fruitful 2011.

The fishing was great, with many limits of crappies and a 19 inch walleye (caught at the mud lake mouth) being the best of the bunch. Thanks for a great time!
