Dave and mom (Joyce) drove up on Saturday ...
Dave mowed the lawn, cleaned out the gutters, and picked up twigs. Dave power washed the spider webs off and cleaned the lawn furniture and the deck. Dave turned on the water in the new cabin, but the new water heater didn't work. The dock sections were put in, the canopy was put on, and the Check-Mate was taken to the boat ramp (with Dave's new trailer hitch), and, with some assistance from a dude at the landing, put the boat in. Mom watched Dave eat a quarter-pounder with cheese, fries, and Coke at McDonald's. The paddle boat was put on the boat lift. The weather was beautiful both days! Bob Roel kept Dave updated on the Twins scores.
They went home Sunday.
